The Fantastic Tale of Slimes, Dark Wizards and Disappearing Towers
A tower defense game where you strategically erase towers instead of building them
How to play
- After each wave of enemies you will be asked to erase a certain amount of towers.
- You can do so by clicking on the tower you want to erase.
- Once you delete the required amount the next wave will start.
- If you fail to delete the required amount of towers in the time given they will be picked at random and the next wave will start.
- During this phase you can also purchase a random tower at a place where no tower currently is with the coins you get by killing enemies.
Towers
Name | Damage | Range | Fire Rate | Extra | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Basic Tower | low | medium | high | - |
![]() | Mortar Tower | high | high | low | - |
![]() | Healing Tower | - | medium | low | heals enemies in an aoe circle |
Developer notes
- The first wave is not setup correctly and only a few basic slimes spawn and they are killed at the same spot. We unfortunately did not catch this in time and can't change it now. The game gets more interesting from wave 2 though, pinky promise:)
- The game is very barebones as it is right now, we were unable to fit all the features and polish into it we wanted in the given time frame. Take it as a sort of a prototype of the 'Tower defense where you erase towers instead of building them' concept.
- The sound effects are very loud, due to time limitations we were unfortunately unable to add volume settings or balance the volume.
- The difficulty might be a bit unbalanced in this state.
- We will keep working on this game after the jam is over to address all these issues and finish the full game.
